Ladakh Turtuk Valley Tour

Day 01 : Leh
Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our representative and transferred to the Hotel.
Check in to the Hotel for a Complete day of rest wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the Hotel.

Day 02 : Leh Sightseeing  with Lamayuru - Leh

After breakfast drive for full day sightseeing, Hall of Fame , Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus River). Kali Temple,  and proceet to Lamayuru Monastery , Lamayuru Monastery was founded in the 10th century which is located at a scenic spot at a distance around 125 kms. away in the west of Leh. Bewitching beauty of its spot has subjected this monastery to a legend.
 Lamayuru is a small village in Ladakh, midway between Kargil and Leh on NH1-D, the Srinagar-Leh highway. Moonlike landscapes carved into the Greater Himalayas are its claim to fame. Evening visit to Shanti Stupa. 
After sightseeing back to Hotel and overnight stay at Hotel.


Day 03 : Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass - Hunder (120 Km / 4 - 5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley, also known as Valley of flowers via Khardungla, the highest Motorable road in the World, (18,380 ft). 
Visit to Diskit Monastery after drive to Hunder.  On your arrival in Hunder check in the camp. 
After enjoying lunch proceed to enjoy walk on the banks of Shayok river, you can also enjoy a ride on double humped camel on the Sand Dunes between Deskit & Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Hunder.

 

Day 04 : Hunder - Turtuk - Hunder (2 - 3 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Turtuk (which is first time opened for the tourist in 2010) which is a place Annexed by India only after the 1971 war, the village of Turtuk is one of the only Balti villages in India and lies right next to the LOC. The village with the whole population of muslims still resembles mini Pakistan. The village's s inhabitants still use traditional utensils which are crafted from stone. Explore the village of Turtuk the village offers views of beautiful valley, part of Shyok Valley. On clear days you can have glimpse of K2 mountain peak located across the border in Pakistan. Though a muslim village, there are few gompas located on the plateau above Shyok River and there is a old royal house to see in village. Return to Hundar by the evening.
Overnight stay in Camp , Hunder

 

Day 05 : Hunder - Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok
After breakfast at hotel we drive to next destination pangong lake via Shyok and onto Tang Tse and Spangmik ( Pangong). It's a short cut and it's a beautiful route. The road follows the Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire setting being very picturesque. Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your day at pangong lake. Overnight stay at camp.

Day 06 : Pangong Lake - Hemis / Thiksey - Leh

After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Stok Palace, 3Idiot School and after sightseeing check in Hotel and overnight in hotel.

Day 07 : Leh Departure

After Breakfast check out hotel and Transfer to airport and fly back to Delhi.
